Oppo Find X8 Pro Performed Better than iPhone 16 Pro in Genshin Impact

The Oppo Find X8 Pro is expected to launch in October with the new Dimensity 9400. The device has created a stir in the markets even before its launch as Weibo user Whylab tested Genshin Impact on the iPhone 16 Pro and Oppo Find X8 Pro, and in this test, the Find X8 Pro has come out ahead.

In the 30-minute test, the Oppo Find X8 Pro scored an average of 60.44 fps, while the iPhone 16 Pro only achieved an average frame rate of 47.48 fps. Apart from the iPhone’s poor score, which also went below 35 fps at some frame rates, In comparison, the Find X8 Pro went below 50 fps only once, confirming that this device is capable of giving tough competition to the iPhone 16 Pro. 

Additionally, when comparing the temperatures of the devices, the Oppo Find X8 Pro reached a temperature of 47.7 C, while the iPhone managed to hit only 45.9 C. This could be due to the difference in the thermal design of the Oppo Find X8 Pro and the iPhone. Oppo’s device uses a more effective heat dissipation system. 

The battery capacity and battery life of the iPhone 16 Pro are more power efficient, but the Oppo Find X8 Pro Matt offers a better gaming experience. However, the Oppo flagship is rumored to feature a 5800 mAh battery. The Oppo Find X8 Pro could support a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 1-120 Hz, making it ideal for visually rich games like Genshin Impact. 

It may also offer a dynamic refresh rate with HDR10+, vibrant colors, deep colors, and smooth touch during gameplay. On the other hand, the iPhone 16 Pro comes with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display with Pro Motion 120 Hz refresh rate, which is also great for gaming, but the iPhone is lagging behind in this battle. 

In terms of gaming, the Oppo Find X8 Pro gives tough competition to the iPhone 16 Pro, especially for titles like Genshin Impact. With its larger, high refresh rate display, better cooling system, faster charging, and gaming-focused software, it also offers a compelling alternative to Apple’s flagship. For users who prioritize gaming performance, the Oppo Find X8 Pro could emerge as a powerful competitor to the iPhone 16 Pro.
