Google Maps to bring teal color theming for its Maps UI elements

Google Maps is one of the most useful applications from Google, which provides the functionality of map navigation on different platforms, including smartphones, Android Auto, and also in web versions. The application has a signature blue color scheme of UI elements, but now, according to the report, it could change it to a new color.

According to the report, users are starting to see a teal accent color that’s applied to the Google Maps bottom bar and icons like directions and location. Along with this, the recently announced screenshots from Google Maps also feature the new color shade.

If Google is adopting a new color theme, then it will distinguish the overall it from its signature logo colors, which include a red, green, and green palette. Meanwhile, a report also claims that Google Maps has still not adopted the dynamic color on Android.

It is worth noticing that these changes are arriving gradually from the server side, which means that users will not have to wait for any new software updates, and it is expected that the changes should be available for each user in the next few days.
