LG to bring new smartphone collaborating with Samsung

LG was once a big innovative smartphone company in the market, but with the competition of new emerging players, mostly the Chinese ones, it has to pack up its phone business in 2021. Now the company is joining hands with Samsung to brig its new special phone featuring AI-powered functionalities.

Samsung will back LG to bring new AI-powered smartphone

According to the korean new Order According to the Korea Economic Daily, LG will collaborate with Samsung to develop a smartphone that is based on AI-powered features. More specifically, the company want to bring a more advanced AI voice assistant

The upcoming smartphones from LG will be nake as Galaxy ixi-O, which will try to bring the AI-based service experience to users. It is worth noticing that earlier this month LG introduced the ixi-I as a personal AI agent that’s only available in Korea. Here it showcases its capabilities, like it can answer calls, detect voice phishing in real time, record and summarize calls, and turn voice conversations into text.

As this phone is coming with the collaboration, it is expected that this could be named the Galaxy ixi-O and will use the Samsung AI Serice Galaxy AI as well. However, according to the reports, the availability of the device could be limited to Korea only, so don’t make any hope.
