Realme UI 2.0: What improvements we want to see?

How to protect your data & privacy in Realme UI

1. Manage App Permissions

Enable “APP Permissions” to manage and set the permissions of each app, such as locating, dialing, acquiring calling history and more.

“Settings” > “Privacy” > “APP Permissions”

2. App Lock

App Lock encrypts apps and requires you to either enter your passcode or fingerprint. You can turn on a specific app with this feature in the App Lock setting.
“Settings” > “Privacy”>”Privacy Protection”>”App Lock”
3. Personal Information Protection

When an app reads personal information such as phone call history and contacts, the system will shield the authentic information to avoid information leakage.

You can choose to turn on “Protect Call History”, “Protect Contacts”, “Protect Messages” and “Protect Events” in setting by yourself. You can also enable “Smart Protection Turn-on” to allow the system to determine on its own whether to turn on protection for new apps.

“Settings” > “Privacy” > “Personal Information Protection”

4. Payment Protection

Payment Protection protects your financial security by scanning the payment environment with the system and the app.

“Settings” > “Privacy”>”Privacy Protection”>”Payment Protection”

5. Security Keyboards

After checking “Use secure keyboard when entering a password”, the security keyboard will be automatically switched on while you type passwords, in order to better protect the privacy and data safety.
6. Kid Space
With Kid Space mode, users are only allowed to use the apps in the list of “Apps allowed to be accessed”, and customize usage duration that the kid is allowed to use the phone for each time.
Go to “Setting” > “Privacy” > “Kid Space”.
Note- We will update this post for more protection.
