The update was released specially for the privacy and security purpose of the devices, which comes with a firmware version:- M317XXS3DVF3 and A536BXXU2AVF2, Respectively. Apart from the security-related issues, it will also increase the complete stability of both devices by fixing many bugs and errors. It will also improve overall system performance to make the devices give their best for their customers.

Galaxy M31s and Galaxy A53 5G will be the same from the updates, but there is one difference. Galaxy A53 5G will also get the new feature except for the security patch, which will improve the camera quality. Samsung found some difficulties using the Galaxy A53 5G camera, so they decided to fix it with its current update.

Samsung launched the Galaxy M31s smartphone in august 2020 with Android 10, upgradable to Android 12, One UI 4.1, and Galaxy A53 5G in March 2022 with Android 12, One UI 4.1.
