Recently, Samsung released the July 2022 security updates for its various devices such as Galaxy A52, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy A13 4G, Galaxy A30s, etc. now it’s time for the Galaxy M series to enjoy the same.
Samsung has started rolling out a new software update for the budget-friendly Galaxy M53 and Galaxy M62 smartphones. The update brings the July 2022 security patch along with some fixes & optimizations. Let’s know what kind of information we have about the update.
It is important to note that the update is currently rolling out in the selected market, such as Brazil and Russia. But we hope that it will reach other regions soon. The latest update carries firmware version – M536BXXU1AVG1 for Galaxy M53 and M625FXXU2BVG1 for the Galaxy M62.

Samsung security index (SSI), found in “Security software version”, SMR Jul-2022 Release 1, includes all patches from Samsung and Google. Some of the SVE items may not be included in this package in case these items were already included in a previous maintenance release.
