Samsung updates 12 stock apps with July 2022 security patch of Galaxy S21 FE in India
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has started receiving the Android July 2022 security patch in India; however, the Galaxy S21 trio already received the update two weeks ago.
Now the company is rolling out July 2022 security patch for Galaxy S21 FE with firmware version G990EXXU3CVG2. The update increases the overall stability of the device and improves the safety and security of the Android System. Along with that, it also brings some new and enhanced features with further improvements.

With the latest July 2022 security patch, 41 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures were addressed. They concern aspects like Samsung Finder, Wearable Manager Installer, Contacts storage, the Messages app, Knoxguard lock, and more. You can find the complete list of fixes here.

Samsung security index (SSI), found in “Security software version”, SMR Jul-2022 Release 1, includes all patches from Samsung and Google. Some of the SVE items may not be included in this package in case these items were already included in a previous maintenance release.

The Galaxy S21 FE smartphone was launched in January 2022 with Android 11 out of the box and upgradable to Android 12 and One UI 4.1. It is also eligible for the upcoming three Android OS updates – Android 13, Android 14, and Android 15.
