Last night, Google rolled out a big bundle of new Android features for the Pixel family by implementing the June 2023 feature drop. The latest update is packed with useful tools and updates for your Pixel phone, Pixel Watch, and Fitbit device. So these tweaks will let your device work more efficiently and optimally.
According to the information, Google’s June 2023 Feature Drop Is special, as it comes with some cool new accessories for the Pixel phones (including Pixel 4a through the latest Pixel 7a) as well as the recently launched Pixel Watch and Fitbit device. Let’s see what’s new in this update.
Moving on, this latest quarterly update is bigger than to the previous March 2023 Feature Drop update, it brings some interesting features such as Macro Focus Video, Hands-free photos, Cinematic wallpapers, SpO2 (blood oxygen) tracking, Safety Check & Emergency Sharing, and more.

Macro Focus Video:
Micro focus video is now available for Pixel 7 Pro to shoot videos. With this feature, you can create larger-than-life videos of small details like butterflies fluttering or flowers fluttering in the wind.
Easier hands-free photos
With the latest update, Google updated its Camera App for Pixel 6 and newer phones will now let you take self-timed photos by simply raising your palm to trigger the timer after setting it for 3 or 10 seconds. For your information, this feature first comes with Google’s first foldable phone, the Pixel Fold.
Cinematic wallpapers:
As it debuted at I/O 2023, Emoji Wallpapers lets you mix and match over 4,000 characters, and is available for Pixel 6 and newer phones to create live wallpapers that fit your personality and mood. Plus, Pixel’s new Cinematic Wallpapers are available for Pixel 6 and newer phones, and you can bring your favorite memories of friends and family to life. With New Wallpapers, Pixel uses AI to transform your 2D wallpaper photos into dynamic 3D scenes for a truly magical look.
Smarter haptics:
For the Pixel 6a and Pixel 7a, the June 2023 Feature Drop adds the Pixel’s Adaptive Haptics can now reduce the intensity of its vibration when it detects that it’s on a hard, flat surface like a desk or table.
