Since the introduction of home screen customization in iOS, users have been experimenting with adding new widgets and replacing the old app icons with new and customized app icons on their home screen.

The custom app icons feature lets you completely change and customize the look of your home screen by creating your own icons. This feature doesn’t replace the icons of the default app already present in the phone, but it creates a new shortcut for the particular app.

Apart from this, you can create your own customized icon either by taking a photo through the camera, choosing the picture from your phone gallery, or creating your icon, which will add your unique art to your home screen. However, this process is a little time-consuming, but the results of your custom app icons will completely change the look of your iPhone’s home screen.
