iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus have been Launched with new designs

The iPhone 16 Series launched globally today, including the iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max variants. In addition, the AirPods and Watch Series 10 were launched with this series. However, many changes are included in this new iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. 

iPhone 16 and 16 Plus Launched Specs

The biggest change in the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus is in the camera island. The square camera island and diagonal sensor placement are removed, and the camera island of the iPhone X has been used. This new camera island is included vertically with a protruding pill-shaped sensor. The iPhone 16 also includes a frosted glass back panel.

The iPhone 16 has a 6.1-inch screen, while the 16 Plus has a 6.7-inch screen. Both devices have a dynamic island with an OLED screen and 2,000 nits peak brightness. The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus also house a camera button and use a 48MP main lens with 2x telephoto and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. 

iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus have other features like macro image shooting. They include an A-18 chipset with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. A new Apple intelligence feature will also be added to these devices by next year. Both smartphones are claimed to come with hardware-accelerated ray tracing and can run AAA titles.

For gaming, it includes a thermal sheet, which gives the user a high-level experience, and the iPhone 16 Duo comes with ‘Big Battery Boost,’ which can provide a long battery backup. These devices feature features like a USB-C port, emergency SOS via satellite, Wi-Fi-7, MagSafe charging, and more. 

However, the series is currently available for pre-order and will go on sale starting Sept. 20. The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus come in five colors: black, white, pink, teal, and ultramarine. The iPhone 16 starts at $799 and Rs. 67,089 in India, while the 16 Plus is priced at $899 and Rs. 75,485 in India.
