GOOGLE GBOARD

Google’s Gboard has many distinctive keyboard features and improves with every update. In the same context, Google recently brought a new Undo feature to its keyboard application Gboard. This Undo feature will allow users to return the text they deleted while texting.

Gboard’s Undo feature:

Google’s Gboard adds an Undo button on its keyboard to return the deleted text. This feature will allow users to bring back the deleted text through an undo button. When we type a text and delete it for some reason but we want the text around, so now Google’s Gboard has the undo button through which we can get our deleted text back.

Although we all are very familiar with the Undo button, which is “ctrl+Z”, present on the keyboard of our PCs or desktop, now we will see the Undo button on the Gboard on our smartphones as well. However, this button is hidden under the disabled flag, and the Undo button appears inside the Gboard’s overflow buttons. When in action, this Undo button could be a powerful tool.

It’s worth noting that this feature is currently in the Beta version and will soon roll out to all users. The button is hidden, and it appears along with the overflow buttons.

Along with the new Undo button feature, Google’s Gboard provides other distinctive features such as built-in Google search, multilingual support, glide typing, search for Emoji or GIFs, Google Translate, one-hand mode, spacebar as a trackpad, and more.

How to use the Undo button in your Gboard on your Android?

You have typed a text and, by chance, deleted it, and you want the text back, so to use the Undo feature on your Android’s Gboard, follow the steps mentioned below:
