iPhone 15 Tipped To Support 35W Fast Charging

According to information via 9to5Mac, the iPhone 15’s charging speed will charge at 35W, which should enable even faster charging speeds on the new phone. Remember that the charging speed of the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max is different. The iPhone 14 charges at 20W, and the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max charge at 27W. At these speeds, it takes about two hours to fully recharge the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

As per the report, one of the biggest changes in the iPhone 15 is the replacement of the Lightning connector with USB-C. If the rumors are true, the resulting iPhone 15 will be able to take advantage of all 35W provided by this specific charger which is still a decent improvement compared to the iPhone 14.

On the other hand, it is still being determined at this point whether the 35W charging will be limited to the iPhone 15 Pro Max model or it will work with the standard iPhone 15 lineup.

Last year, Apple introduced a new 35W Dual USB-C Port Compact Power Adapter Charger capable of recharging all current iPhone models at full speed. This charger allows you to charge two devices at the same time, whether you are at home, in the office, or on the go. Worth mentioning Apple recommends using it with the MacBook Air, but you can also use it with the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and AirPods.
