Samsung Rolls Out One UI 5.1.1 Update For Galaxy S22 & A54
Samsung is rolling out its latest Android 13-based One UI 5.1.1 for the Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy A54 5G. Earlier, the brand gave this new update to the Galaxy S23 series. The update brings new fantasies in the functionality to enhance the user experience. For now, the update is rolling in the US on the Verizon network for locked variants of both the devices.

The One UI 5.1.1 software update brings an attractive and easy-worthy change to the contacts of the Galaxy device. With this new update, the contact’s Call Background menu gets replaced with Contact Details, previously located in the settings. However, it seems like a minor change, but it proves very efficient because now the user does not have to tap extra.
Steps For Editing Call Background –
Now, with this new update, the way to reach the Call Background option has become a little shorter. Here are the steps mentioned below to get access to the option;
- Select a contact for which you want to edit the call background and click on the “I” button
- Tap on three dots for extra options.
- Lastly, click on the Edit call background.
- Done.
One UI 5.1.1 Brings New Change In Messages –
The brand is providing a new change in the Galaxy Messages application by which the conversation and contacts tabs sequence get replaced at the top of the screen but only whenever the users share an image. Previously, both of the tabs were placed at the bottom of the screen. With this new change, the users will get easy access to both tabs quickly.

Samsung has rolled out this latest update with a new identification build number for the Galaxy S22 series, which consists of three devices: Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. Three of them are holding S908USQU3CWGI, S908USQU3CWGI, and S908USQU3CWGI versions, respectively. On the other hand, for Galaxy A54 5G, the software firmware version is A546VSQU5AWGF.
