Meta-owned Instagram, one of the most popular social media platforms, offers lots of entertainment enhancements out of which reels are in the majority, and the audience loves to watch it. As per the record on Google, Instagram’s reels have 2.35 billion monthly active users, which is a huge number in itself. Now the platform is busy preparing something interesting for reels.
If the news is to be believed, internal testing has been spotted, which indicates that the brand is experimenting with extending the maximum length of Reels to 10 minutes. Regarding this Instagram also confirmed that it may soon permit the users to publish or create their Reels up to 10 Minutes in length, It seems the platform is competing with TikTok, X and YouTube as well.
This new information is in the headlines after seeing a post on ‘X’, the well-known tipster @alex193a shared a post on ‘X’ formerly Twitter, which stated that Instagram is working on offering the ability to the users to create Reels up to 10 minutes long as per their convenience. At the moment, the users are only able to create reels 15 seconds to 90 seconds.
Instagram previously back in early last year, discontinued its long-form “IGTV” video, but with the new testing rumours, it seems like the platform is bringing it back, in a new form. This new time limit will surely enhance the user’s video experience, the creator will get more time to entertain their audience.
However, the feature is still in its developing stage, it is only known that Reels will offer time up to 10 minutes to the users, apart from this, nothing else is known when this new feature will take the floor.
