The company has released the latest security updates for several Galaxy S, Galaxy Note, Galaxy M, Galaxy A, and Galaxy Z series devices. South Korean tech has started rolling out the September 2023 security patch to its rugged devices, and the Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro and Galaxy Xcover 5 are the latest to receive it. The new update for the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro carries firmware version G736U1UES5CWI1 and G736USQS7CWI2 to the phone’s carrier-unlocked and Locked version. In Europe, The latest update for the Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro and XCover 5 has firmware version G736BXXU5CWI2 and G525FXXU8CWH1, respectively. The latest updates for the two phones bring the September 2023 security patch with fixes for more than 60 security issues.
Through this month’s security patch, the Korean tech giant is improving system security, giving users better security and privacy functionality with more protection than the previous version. Along with security enhancements, the update also fixes all the bugs and known issues that were causing inconvenience to users.
