Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G Starts Receiving One UI 5.1.1 Update In US
Samsung has started rolling out One UI 5.1.1 update based on Android 13 for the Galaxy Z Flip 5G smartphone. The major update is available for locked models in the US, and the company will soon expand it to more countries.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G users may recognize the One UI 5.1.1 update with firmware F707U1UEU6IWI1 and a package size of around 1.1GB. The update is currently available in the locked variant in the US and will soon be expanded to other markets. This update brings many new features and improvements to the devices, as well as updates for several stock apps.
The One UI 5.1.1 update for Galaxy Z Flip 5G comes with a bundle of new features and enhancements to make the Galaxy experience more intuitive and better. This update mainly enhances Multitasking, Flex Mode, Quick Share, Multi-Window, Camera, Gallery, Samsung Health, Hotspot, and Bluetooth.
Additional changes include the Drag and Drop with two hands, Keeping storage space available, Enhanced memory management in Device care, Changing your mode from the Lock screen, Customize your layout in Samsung Internet, and more.
Additionally, this major update installs the August 2023 security update to improve system security and stability. This firmware fixes some issues related to the Galaxy Store, Internet browser, and Samsung members.
How to update:
To install the latest update, simply open the device Settings, press the Software Update option, and then click on the Download and Install option. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the latest updates.
