Wakeup, new enhancement here’s: Instagram is on the test ride; recently, it announced that the brand is testing a new feature for the users to turn photos into custom stickers. And now it is back with new testing for enhancing the users ‘Note’ experience. Instagram is testing a new feature that will offer the ability to ‘post selfie videos in Notes.’ Let’s take a close look at this news.
It is being speculated that Instagram is testing a new feature that offers the ability to post selfie videos in the notes by post shared by Adam Mosseri, which states that;
“New test alert: This week, we started testing the ability to post selfie videos in Notes. Soon, people will be able to update their default profile photo in Notes with a short, looping video. You’ll still be able to share a thought via a test to accompany the video.”
By this statement, it is pretty clear that the company will soon deliver a new facility for the users by which they get the ability to post selfie videos in their notes. Apart from this, users will also get permission to update their default profile photo in Notes along with a looping video.
Instagram Notes: Now vs In the Future
Presently, the big users only have the ability to share thoughts and songs on their notes. Now, by tapping on the note, a dedicated UI gets opened in which the user’s profile picture appears at the center, along with two options: one for writing thoughts and the second for sharing songs.
But once the testing is over, the users will get the power to share their selfie videos in notes. Then, in the note’s UI, the users ‘ profile picture will see a new camera icon, which enables them to record selfie videos.
At the moment, this feature is in the developing stage, and soon, the users will get the power to add their selfie video in big notes.
