Following a new test revealed in late February, Google is also set to introduce the ability to view notifications on Contacts widgets. Once this is available, a badge in the top-right corner of the individual contacts widget will show a notification bell icon, combined with the background image and shortcuts for calling and messaging.

Further, the company has clearly explained how you can use it and how you can answer questions. To use this process, you must first allow “notification access” and then specifically grant permissions for “Conversations” and “Notifications.”

You can then use it to show missed calls, messages, important dates, and more. You can also add a separate place for other better information. It was first introduced in Android 12, but we have not seen any updates. The company is releasing these widget notifications with version 4.31 of Google Contacts, but they have not yet been widely released. Hopefully, it will be launched soon.

Google Updates

This year, Google conducted the Google I/O conference, where the brand unveiled some devices and software like Gemini. The Gemini integrates almost all apps, like Google Photos, via Ask Photos and YouTube Music extension, with Gemini Advanced in its Masages 1.5 Pro. These features are made easier to use on any pixel device. Google will be rolling out this feature soon, making it even easier to recall specific things.
