Google Introduces a New Android 15 Beta 2.1 Update, Fixing the Private Space Issue
Google’s entire concentration is developing the latest OS version of its Android ecosystem, the Android 15. The company is exploring all possible ways to infuse the best yet advanced features and enhancements within Android 15. Last week, Google released the latest Android 15 Beta 2 build for its supported Pixel devices, introducing some noticeable features and enhancements. Meanwhile, Google has another beta build, the Android 15 Beta 2.1 for Pixels.

Google has officially released the second version of the latest Android 15 Beta update in less than a week. The company claimed that the new Android 15 Beta 2.1 release significantly brings some relevant updates that solve the issue occurring with the new Private space feature within the Pixel phones, allowing users to have a much more suitable software experience.

Meanwhile, Google rushed to offer the latest Android 15 Beta 2.1 update that comes with the AP31.240426.023 official build version, which is just a minor update that certainly fixes the essential issue that the Pixel users were facing while creating a private space on their device for the first time where the icons added to the space were removed from the home screen. Plus, this latest beta update carries the May 2024 Security patch level, while it further ships with Google Play services with version 24.15.18.
The newest beta build fixes the private space issue by ensuring the icons stay on the home screen. However, the new Android 15 Beta 2.1 build has achieved no noticeable improvements or functionalities. Moreover, Google further states that all the supported Pixel phones enrolled within the Android Beta for Pixel program will significantly receive the latest update through an OTA update to the new Android 15 Beta 2.1, available only for some supported Google Pixel owners.
