Google Introduces a New Android 15 Beta 2.2 Build for its Pixel Devices That Addresses a Bunch of Fixes
As Android 15 is gradually moving closer to its stable channel, Google never stops releasing never-ending bug fixes for the Android’s beta programs. Considering that, to make the beginning of June more effective, Google has just dropped the latest and yet another quick fix for the Android 15 Beta 2 build, the Android 15 Beta 2.2 version. While the Android 15 beta versions have been rushing to the Pixel smartphones for quite some time, the latest Android 15 Beta 2.2 build is addressing a handful of fixes for the supported Pixel phones.
The Android 15 Beta 2.2 Update addresses a bunch of fixes:
The previous Android 15 Beta 2.1 update introduced a fix for the issue that was preventing users from creating private spaces. This new Android 15 Beta 2.2 update seems to be in continuation with the previous release. The latest Android 15 Beta 2.2 release comes with the AP31.240426.023.B4 official build and adds a little more, as Google has fixed some relevant issues that are adversely affecting the functionality of the Pixel devices.
With the latest version of the Android 15 Beta 2 release, Google introduces a bunch of fixes, including the remaining issue while creating the private space on the device, a fix for the issue with the Wallet role where the NFC payments are non-functional, a fix for the issue where the app drawer is not opening when swiping up, a fix the issue where the NFC payments are not processing, and issues within the 10-bit HDR recording, respectively.
Moreover, this new Android 15 Beta 2.2 update carries a security patch level for May 2024 along with Google Play Services version 24.16.17 that further fixes other issues that were significantly affecting the overall system stability, interactivity, and connectivity within the Pixel phones, which in turn help in providing a more stable, interactive, and optimized user experience. Here’s the entire official changelog:
