Google Meet started working on “Takes notes for me” a year ago, and the Gemini feature will now be rolled out to users in Workspace. This new feature can also be enabled with the new pencil with the sparkle icon at the top-right corner of Google Meet

Apart from this, some new features can also be added, including the options of “Transcribe the meeting “ and “Record the meeting.” With this new feature, you can review the record to follow up on the meeting. Additionally, you can prepare notes through a new feature called “Take notes for me.”

The upcoming “Takes notes for me” feature will help users remember things. Google Meet will listen to the call and prepare notes for you using this. Tapping on its corner button again will also show “summary so far” and “Latest update.” It can also provide many other types of assistance to the user. You can also add its data to Google Docs and Calendar.

It can also be emailed, including a list of people, attachments, and other transcripts and recordings. Google is also testing this feature in Workspace Labs and Alpha. This Workspace can be sold to customers in several forms: Gemini Enterprise, Gemini Education Premium, or AI Meetings and Messaging. It is expected that this feature will be available to all users by September 10.
