Google plans to give users control over Health Connect data with the upcoming Android 15 update. A new change will be made in the Health Connect settings to help users back up data that provides information about the user’s activity, heart rate, sleep monitoring, and calorie intake.
Android 15 Health Connect Data
According to Android Authority, the new “Backup and Restore” feature in Health Connect has been seen recently, but it is unclear whether it will work on devices now. This new feature of Health Connect will soon be seen on Android 15. It is possible that this feature will not be available on older Android devices.
However, Health Connect can be seen on Android 13 and Android 14 devices. To use it, go to Settings > Security and Privacy> Privacy > Health Connect. It can also be downloaded from the Google Play Store. A code string has been received that allows users to take daily, weekly, or monthly backups of Health Connect data.
Google also allows you to choose cloud storage to store the data. Health Connect data is also encrypted with a password, but it is not clear whether this will require a Google account password. The brand is expected to roll it out soon, and users are getting new methods to store their data.
