Android 15 Update is Rolling Out on The Pixel Devices

The Android 15 firmware update will start with October 2024 security patch from today. Android sadge reported that android 15 is now available for some users from today. Android 15 will likely bring more refinement, performance improvement and new features that enhance user experience, security and optimization. Earlier, this update was postponed to October of this year, but after fixing all bugs, it was released for all Pixel devices.

Android 15 with October 2024 update includes bug fixes and improvements for Pixel. It fixes an issue with battery and charging where the device would sometimes restart unexpectedly and also makes general improvements to charging and battery usage. An issue is also fixed for the biometric method in the device where face unlocking did not work reliably under certain conditions.

Additionally, this Android 15 update fixes a Bluetooth issue that sometimes made it impossible to connect to some devices or Bluetooth accessories. Apart from this, general improvements have also been made to the camera’s reliability under certain conditions. Also, the issue for display and graphics is fixed, where a gray shadow was visible on the internal display under certain conditions.

Android 15 update can also make general improvements to the reliability and performance of some system apps and improvements to display reliability. Additionally, several other issues have been fixed, including apps being sometimes unable to access media files, which affected the system reliability and performance under certain conditions. There was also a problem with the reliability of the connectivity services.
