Google Discover

Google has made several significant changes to its entire ecosystem to make the Android experience work best for users. One such service is Google Discover, which allows users to receive the latest updates on the topics they love the most, eliminating the need to search for things manually. This highly popular Google Feed, which is currently referred to as Google Discover, will now be called Home.

In recent years, Google has made several changes to its feed, changing its name quite often. It started with Google Now, then Google Feed, and today, it’s Google Discover. Meanwhile, Google is taking a significant step, making a minor change to the name of its Discover section, as the latest report shared by Assemble Debug on X provides the hint.

Google Discover to be renamed as Home

According to Assemble Debug, Google will rename its popular and highly-admired Discover tab, which will now be called Home. He further added that a new tab, Browse, will also be added that will offer plenty of pre-defined search terms. This new renaming could be presumed to add a new way of exploring the app’s main page, suggesting some search suggestions based on the user’s interests.

However, users will take time to adjust to this new change. It’s important to note that Google has not yet confirmed the exact purpose of this change. Meanwhile, only the naming will be changed, though the functionality will remain the same.
