The most exciting thing about a big Android update is being able to stick to a reasonable schedule to get a taste of all the new features. Android 12 comes with radical user interface tweaks, which have been refined in the Android 13 update. Now we expect Android 14 to focus on performance and efficiency. Android 14 brings many new features to provide the latest innovations to Pixel users, the Battery Alarm feature being a good example.

Battery Alarm! This feature notifies you when the battery is fully charged and notifies you when the battery is getting low. With Android 14, the US tech giant is working on Battery alarms specifically for users where you will get an alert when your devices are low on battery.

Android 14 Battery Alarm:

According to Android Police, Google is working on new battery features with Android 14. When you only have 2% battery life left, you’ll see a “Very Low Battery” notification, giving you the time for the last mile. To charge your phone before it shuts down.

For your information, now, with Android 13, you are notified at both 20% and 10% battery, suggesting that it may be time to find a charger or turn on Battery Saver. While a 10% battery is definitely low, it isn’t low enough to stop you from using your phone.

Now, the company working on the 2% alert with Android 14 will probably give you a few minutes to send that last text message and hopefully plug your phone in for real before everything shuts down this time.

Beyond the battery alert, Android 14 brings some of the UI design changes, along with enhancements to performance, privacy, security, and user customization that Google plans to bring with its stable version.
