macOS Sonoma, the latest version of the Mac Operating System, was first introduced at the WWDC 2023. It has come up with several new and interesting features, and one of its features is Interactive Widgets on the Desktop. Here we are sharing how to add Interactive Widgets to your Mac devices.

Apple has introduced several interactive features in its latest release that is the macOS Sonoma which includes new screensavers and improved widgets, video conferencing, screen sharing using a high-performance mode that is used to share apps during calls, reaction feature, safari’s private browsing mode, improved tracking, and fingerprint protection to help protect your website across the web, pdfs in the Notes app and gaming mode for enhanced gaming experience for the gamers. 

Interactive widgets in macOS:

Apple, in its latest update, introduced an Interactive Widgets Feature to the desktop, which is found in the Widgets gallery on the desktop. Also, when you don’t use the widgets, they smoothly blend with the wallpaper. These Interactive Widgets allow users to check their remainders, media playback, make notes and pdfs, control smart home devices, various customization options, and much more without going to open any app.

How to add widgets on the desktop in your Mac devices?

In Mac devices, the widgets gallery provides several widgets to choose from. To add the widgets on the desktop, here are a few steps for you to follow:

  • In your Mac, right-click on the desktop in the empty space.
  • Now tap on the Edit widgets option.
  • The widgets gallery will appear in front of you; you can select any widgets of your choice from the widgets gallery, available in different sizes, from small to large.

Just right-click on any widget, and many customization options will appear with which you can customize your widgets, change their size, and can remove them by tapping “remove widget” if you don’t want them.
