Now that everyone is familiar with the rebranding of the Twitter platform, now called “X,” as announced by Elon Musk in his post. Recently, Musk has shared a new “X” post announcing that the platform now offers the video downloading facility to its verified users. Although, users need to wait a little to enjoy this interesting feature.

“X” (Twitter) Video Downloading Facility

“X” will now allow its verified users to download the videos. Moreover, to access the video downloading feature, users will need a Twitter Blue subscription. In other words, it is a paid feature available only to verified users. Thus, if you are not a verified user on “X,” you cannot use this feature.

“X” Video Downloading Facility, But With A Twist

On the other hand, as the Video downloading feature is only available to the “X” verified users, there’s a twist. The “X” verified users will only be able to download any video if the content creator allows them to download. It’s all up to the content creators whether they want their videos to be downloaded by others or not from the app.

Although video downloading is an interesting feature and is still in the experimenting stage, Musk stated that this video downloading feature will be enhanced and will get as easy as saving any image to our phone gallery.

TweetDeck Is Now XPro:

Apart from introducing the Video downloading capability and replacing tweets with posts, “X” is now working on the TweetDeck, which is now called XPro. This latest rebranding from TweetDeck to XPro appears on the page when the users sign out. However, the URL is still the same.

Also, the XPro lacks the multi-user support which is to be added to the platform as this is an important function for those who have big accounts.
