US Variants Of Galaxy Fold 4, Flip 4 Get Better Multitasking Features With One UI 5.1.1
Samsung released the One UI 5.1.1 update to the European variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 earlier. The company also released the new, improved multitasking features update to the carrier-locked versions of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 in the US.
The One UI 5.1.1 software update for the carrier-locked version of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 has firmware version F936USQU3DWH5, and Galaxy Z Fold 4 has firmware version F721USQU3DWH5, and it is rolling out on MetroPCS and T-Mobile’s networks in the US. More carriers could release the new update within the next few days.
You can check for the new update if you have a Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 and live in the US. To do that, head to Settings >> Software update and tap Download and Install on your phone.
One UI 5.1.1 Features:
Based on the Android 13, One UI 5.1.1 firmware comes with many new features and improvements under the several sections of the Galaxy smartphone and tablet devices, including Multitasking, Taskbar, Flex mode, Quick Share, Samsung Health, Camera and Gallery.
In addition to this, it also comes with some additional changes, such as Drag. It drops with two hands, Continues using your phone while charging another device, Listens to Auracast broadcasts, Enhances memory management in Device care, Changes your mode from the Lock screen, and Customizes your layout on Samsung Internet.
Lastly, it also installs the latest August 2023 security update, which brings security improvements, stability optimizations, and bug fixes for the smooth performance of the devices.
