Here’s Five Tough Competitors Smartphone Of OnePlus Open
OnePlus has finally made its surge into the foldable industry. Yes! After a long wait, the brand has debuted its first foldable OnePlus Open, which is undoubtedly a premium high-end flagship smartphone. The brand has powered it with a whole package of top-notch key features and specifications, in which the brightest display is at the top of the list.
However, it seems that OnePlus may have given top-notch features in its foldable device, but no one can deny the fact that there are a lot of competitor brands in the industry. While the brand OnePlus has carved out a space for itself in the premium smartphone segment, banging the ultra-premium smartphone market, being the boss of just two brands, Apple and Samsung, will be a tough task.
In this article, we are discussing the five top competitors that the OnePlus Open has to face in the premium segment.
Oppo Find N3
The biggest competitor on the OnePlus Open will be its parent company, Oppo, which recently announced the Oppo Find N3.
‘The Oppo Find N3 is a foldable device that is identical to the OnePlus Open; the only major difference between them is just software. Oppo, for its premium foldable smartphone offering, appears to have a bit of an advantage with its colour options, including Gold and red, that deliver a more stylish and elegant look when compared to the more muted colour options on the OnePlus Open.
Noticeably, it won’t be too big of an issue, as the Oppo Find N3 is limited to selection and in markets like India. In contrast, OnePlus does appear to have an edge, along with no direct competition from OnePlus.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5
Undoubtedly, the Korean tech giant is the original foldable brand, and till now, it has released its five generations of foldables. The fifth generation appears more refined than ever before, which is none other than Galaxy Z Fold 5. The brand has powered it with an IPX8 rating, which no other foldable offers, or the speed-binned Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset for enhancing the gaming performance.
The Korean brand ‘Samsung’ also offers first-class foldable software for enhancing the user experience alongside up to 1TB of internal storage, which is a plus point for users who look forward to a device with higher internal storage. So, to lead the industry, OnePlus, if not better than these features, must deliver at least similar features, specifications, hardware and software experience.
However, jumping on the price, the OnePlus Open is more affordable than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5.
Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max
Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max, obviously the most figured out premium flagship smartphone, is going to keep this award until September 2024. However, it is not a foldable phone. Still, undoubtedly, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is a tough competitor to the OnePlus Open, which is beyond any questions, being slightly more affordable, and might not offer as big of a brand value as Apple.
It is not only about the branding but even goes through its features; the iPhone 15 Pro Max presently packs one of the best smartphone camera setups, including a new 5x optical zoom lens.
Google Pixel 8 Pro
The most expensive and advanced smartphone Google has ever launched in India is the Google Pixel 8 Pro. This device is also known for its enhanced camera setups and its AI prowess. Here, the fact is that this is one of the first mainstream smartphones that is capable of running on-device generative AI models. Whereas the OnePlus Open has a Hasselblad-tuned camera, on the other side, the Google Pixel 8 Pro uses software magic to retouch photos and pictures to make them look sharp and vivid.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
The other competition is the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra flagship device, which costs almost similar to the OnePlus Open. For anyone who is looking for a high-end Android smartphone without any compromise, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is the first one that arrives ahead. However, the device has everything that should be in a smartphone, which one expects from a premium high-end Android smartphone.
Similar to OnePlus Open, Galaxy S23 Ultra also has a periscope zoom lens along with up to 10x optical zoom lens. If one compares both the phones, then the OnePlus Open has 3x optical zoom and 6x sensor zoom, and the phone also offers up to 120x optical zoom.
So, these are the top five competitor devices for the OnePlus Open.
