Android Auto Have The Ability To Match Your Phone’s Wallpaper
Your smart driving companion – ‘Android Auto’ is getting smarter with a new update. Google is rolling out a new update to enhance the users’ experience.
Android Auto is receiving a new update, which is getting new support for copying the phone’s wallpaper to the display of the car. Google has announced this latest Android Auto feature in a new toggle that uses their phone’s wallpaper on the car display.
With this update, Android Auto is getting the new power by which it can sync the wallpaper of users’ smartphones easily, and then they will see the same wallpaper in both smartphones’ and cars’ displays as well.
However, for now, the brand has rolled out this update in the beta stage, and it is only available for some of the beta testers. The update has arrived with its own identification build number, which is v11.0 beta, but noticeably, the required code was in place as far back as version v10.7.
Basically, with this update, the users will instantly see the same wallpaper on their car’s display behind as a background of Android Auto’s app drawer. And it would not show up behind the dashboard view or somewhere else, so its usefulness seems a bit limited.
Here’s the noticeable catch: there are also some limitations on the wallpaper that can be used. The users can only use static images with this functionality. Live wallpapers do not support nor will any other kind of customized wallpapers.
