Google Teases “Minty Fresh” Addition to Pixel 8 Series

With a “Minty Fresh” teaser for the upcoming Pixel 8 series, which is expected to be unveiled next week, the Google store has piqued interest. The teaser, which was posted on X made by Google, shows a mint paint overlay over a Pixel 8 Pro picture. The countdown that goes with it ends at midnight PT on January 25.

The hint at this tease points to the potential release of a new color option for the Pixel 8 series, maybe dubbed “Minty Fresh.” This is the translation of the binary sequence seen in Google’s social media post. The teaser showcases “itsaliving,” an artist who will be painting a mural, at a live event on January 25 at 11 a.m. Et in Downtown New York City.

The action is consistent with Google’s past practice of releasing new Pixel device models. The Pixel 4a’s Barely Blue variant and the Pixel Fold’s unique Hip Hop 50 edition are two previous instances.
