Apple Passwords App Could Be Launch At WWDC 2024; Rumors
Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference will start just three days later, and many new features are expected to be introduced at this event. However, before this event, another rumor surfaced that the Apple Password App will likely launch at WWDC. This new feature can be a better option for the upcoming device.
At this event, Apple will launch a new iOS, iPadOS, macOS, visionOS, and Windows for its devices. This new device will have a one-stop shop for managing passwords, which will be a different app or platform from the existing iCloud Keychain used on the device, and you may also have to pay some USD to use it.
This feature will be able to compete directly with password-managing services like LastPass and 1Password. This new feature will offer different categories for Apple Password Account, Passkey, and Wi-Fi Network. It will also have a sync option across devices so that users don’t have to remember any of their passwords.
Thus, we can say that it will also include the ability to autofill and generate new passwords while signing up on different platforms so that you don’t have to enter your ID and Password again and again. Apple Password may also offer authentication codes from Google Authenticator and the ability to import passwords from other password-managing platforms. It remains to be seen how much truth there is in this.
