The Status Privacy Confirmation feature will allow users to control their privacy settings before sharing a new status update.
Through this new feature, WhatsApp presents the status privacy settings before sharing any content on their status updates, eliminating the need to adjust the privacy settings for each status individually. This newest feature significantly simplifies the status-sharing process and offers more control over the status update settings.
Meanwhile, when sharing a status update, WhatsApp will now ask users to select their status privacy settings before sharing any status update, ensuring that the content that’s shared is reaching the right audience. Plus, this newest Status Privacy Confirmation feature has started rolling out and is currently available to some beta testers; it will reach out to more people over the next few days.
