Meta has launched a community on Messenger

Meta has recently introduced a new “community” feature on Messenger, and this feature is designed to help organizations, schools, and other private groups communicate while keeping privacy in mind. Through this community, many changes will also come to the device, like blocking and avoiding other unknown people, which will be easy.

Meta Community On Messenger

Meta will introduce this feature to WhatsApp communities in 2022. This feature allows users to connect with others without joining the Facebook group. With this new feature, the company will enable people to communicate on Messenger without joining the Facebook group. This feature can work like WhatsApp.

This shows that Meta is engaged in developing the feature of the functionality of Messenger and can help the user find and connect with their community directly within Messenger. The brand is expected to add a comprehensive social networking experience to the messaging app outside of Facebook that works like WhatsApp or even better.

According to the brand, users can aggregate multiple communities and group chats in one place, and each community will also have a “home” space. Up to 5,000 users can join a community through shareable invites. It can create a space to connect with organizations, schools, PTAs, and friends with similar interests.

You can also connect on different topics in the neighborhood and create a community to stay updated. You can create group chats for upcoming events, safety alerts, garbage pickup schedules, and more. However, it is very similar to WhatsApp.

The only difference is that in Messenger, you can join communities through Facebook’s social graph or by invite, but on WhatsApp, you need to get a person’s phone number to add them to the community. You can also grow your community by inviting friends and friends of friends on Facebook. This community on Messenger is designed for public conversation. This new feature is available to all users globally.
