Google Photos Adds Documents View to Web
Google Photos is adding a “Documents” section to the web, already available on Android and iOS. However, it was introduced on mobile devices in November last year, and now you can find Documents in this library along with Favorites, Albums, Utilities, Collections, Locked Folders, and Trash.
This dropdown also shows three top collections and a link to see all documents, which, like the mobile carousel, can include screenshots, books and magazines, event info, identities, notes, payment methods, receipts, recipes, menus, and Automatic social albums.
It also offers “Archive after 30 days,” and you can access its grid by searching for documents or going directly to photos.google.com/u/0/documnts. This Google Photos for the Web is a great resource that will be another way to access important documents in the future via the Gemini-powered Ask Photos.
Besides this, Google can also add another new feature, Google Wallet, which helps you save important documents. This feature is also in the development stages, and all these features can be rolled out soon.
