Android 15 beta 4.2 Released With Fixes Beta 4 Issue for Pixel Devices

This new beta update resolved camera issues in Pixel devices. It is rolling out as Android 15 beta 4.2 about a month after the last schedule. This update also released a list of devices with the latest August 2024 security patch. 


However, this official version, AP31.240617.015 of Android 15 Beta 4.2 is available for all the devices released. This update version comes with many problem solutions, including a delay in turning on some devices. Also, a grey transparent bar appeared while using the camera, which was fixed. 

Additionally, the problems of low frame rate in the camera, crashes while charging the zoom value, and camera saturation has been fixed. The problems have also been fixed, such as flickering with the UI and crashing the YouTube app. Earlier, the phone calling issue was also fixed through the released patch. 

On the other hand, the new Pixel 9 series is based on Android 14, but after some time, this series will also get an Android 15 update. However, this on-device OTA size is 59.01 MB, currently available for many devices. The list of these devices is given below –
