Google Photos has previously added a new image-flipping button and is now getting a new Ultra HDR update. According to Android Authority, the image flip option is now available on Android devices in the latest version, 7.0, while Assemble Debug has spotted the Ultra HDR option in the app.

Google Photos New Ultra HDR Option

This new feature in Google Photos can be seen as the Ultra HDR option in the Adjust feature. However, no details have been offered about this feature. It seems that it will let users control the brightness levels of images. The app also has a vibrance option.

There is a possibility that Google may rename the HDR effect to Vibrance. This feature is currently available in version 6.99 of Google Photos, available on the Play Store. The new option can be widely seen in the app with version 7.0. Google Photos currently relies on Android 14 to support the Ultra HDR image format.

On the other hand, it may bring detailed shadows, highlights, and intense color to Ultra HDR images. It will also make the photo brighter in the brightest and darkest areas. You can capture HDR, which results in high-quality images. You can also choose different levels of Ultra HDR support in the device. This photo is displayed only on a display with a brightness greater than 1000 nits.
