Google has taken a step towards making digital payments and mobile wallet services more convenient by introducing a quick settings tile for Google Wallet on Samsung phones. The feature aims to simplify access to Google Wallet so that users can quickly and easily access their payment cards, passes, and other wallet features without having to navigate multiple apps or screens.
The integration of this tile in the quick settings menu is Google’s attempt to make its payment service more accessible. The feature was announced in late August, and now it has been widely rolled out for Samsung phones as the Google Wallet Quick Settings tile. This new feature adds a shortcut to Samsung phones.
It provides one-touch access to Google Wallet from Quick Settings, and tapping on Wallet opens the full app. Users can use it to make payments by bringing the phone near the reader, but if they want to use a feature other than the default card, then the user needs to launch the app. This new feature can be seen rolling out widely after updating to the latest stable version (24.39).
Google Wallet quick settings tile can be rolled out soon on Samsung phones, which makes it easier to use the digital wallet. This feature will make Google Wallet a part of the daily routine of users. Google aims to make transactions, one-tap access, and wallet management faster, more efficient, and more user-friendly for Samsung device owners.
