Google Photos will Soon Get a New Update Feed
Google Photos changed the library tab to the Collections tab in August. Now, Google Photos has also made some other changes, including the Updates feed replacing sharing. This new update has come to meet all the needs of the users.
Google Photos had a sharing page that users could access through the Plus menu and the People icon between your profile avatar. The brand also added Create Shared Album and Share with a Friend shortcuts for users. After this, the brand added the Albums and Memories carousel to it, which helps in finding all kinds of pictures and videos.
Lastly, a list of conversations was added to it, which made it easier to search and get information about all kinds of things in the app. This new update brings a notification bell icon to the app bar to see recently shared updates, including conversations and shared links. This allows the user to open the updates feed.
It also has an overflow menu that lets you access options such as shared links, shared memories, and conversations through sharing activities. This new update also adds a bell icon to the Google Messaging system that will have a bell icon in the top bar. This icon will allow you to easily access Home, Play Store, and YouTube. This update is available for Android devices, but it will soon be rolled out for iOS devices as well.
