Google to retire Pixel 5a with this surprise update
Google launched the Pixel 5 device back in 2021; it was released with Android 11, and then it has gradually received new updates till Android 14. Now the device has reached its limit to get software updates, but with the latest development, the device is spotted getting a surprise update.

It is worth noticing that Pixel 5a received the last update back in August and expected that the company may permanently retire the device from the software update support, but now it has surprised everyone with rolling out a new update.
According to reports on Reddit, the Pixel 5a just got a new update. The latest update with the new changes to the security with the November 2024 security patch. The update is coming with the firmware version AP2A.240805.005.S4.
Another report on Reddit mentioned that the latest update will provide new bug fixes and stability improvements in adaptive brightness, Bluetooth routing, and media player. So if you are getting any issues while using different functionalities, then you should check out the latest update
