The Gmail App Showing Used Percentage Instead Of Cloud Space

The Gmail has received various updates recently. In these, a persistent bottom bar and tracking of shipment-like updates are included. Google has now included its cloud service also in it. With this feature, if you tap on the account icon, Google will show you the used space percentage here instead of the gigabytes as the other apps do.
If you see the used cloud space row in Gmail, you can also check the used storage here in the gigabytes format. By tapping this row, Gmail will lead you to the Google One app, where you can find the used storage information in the format of bytes. Google One shows the space occupied by the Google apps- Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos.
