Ever since the 12th version of Android has arrived, Google has been bringing new features for the users who will not be seen in the previous version. And just recently, another new feature has been added to Android 12, which we have explained in detail below.

Google has introduced a new interface to simplify the configuration of a new Android device, which is very reminiscent of the Fast Pair mode reserved for pairing Bluetooth headphones and accessories.

When you restore a phone from a previous Android smartphone, if you have chosen not to restore wirelessly, a new notification appears on the old phone, reminding you to set up the new one.

The new interface, much more invasive, replaces the previous notification, which was easier to ignore and which, if not activated, required you to configure the new device in “Google Search” to restore the contents.

The interface is also much more graphically consistent, with a button that will follow the Material You theme on Android 12 and a preview of the device to restore.
