Google Meet New Update Improve Experience For Accepting Or Declining Request To Join
Google Meet is a famous video communication service developed by Google. With Google Meet, you can connect, collaborate and celebrate securely from anywhere. Plus, anyone can securely create and join high-quality video meetings for groups of up to 250 people. Google keeps updating the Meet app from time to time with new capabilities and features.
On June 07, as per the Google Workspace update, Google released a new update for a better experience for accepting or declining requests to join Google Meet. In addition, this new feature is available to all Google Workspace customers and users with personal Google Accounts.
According to the information, this latest update for Google Meet started Yesterday; Google says the feature could take 1 to 3 days to reach all users with Rapid release domains. This is a highly requested feature that can take their time reviewing join requests without disrupting the overall meeting experience.
According to the changelog, the Accept Update dialog may block access to other meeting features. Additionally, users can quickly accept or decline a request to join instead of dismissing the notification window because the dialog box takes up a lot of screen space.
A report by 9to5Google, the US tech giant, is working on Google Meet PiP in Chrome, and it will also be available to “all Google Workspace customers and users with personal Google accounts.”
