This feature helps the users to avoid coincidently taping and also distracting the video. This latest feature is only available for users who have YouTube Premium.
The Lock Screen feature is the resolution of the issue, which kills all desire to watch a video or the vibe of the video by just a tip of mistaken touch. Sometimes this issue is created without even touching a drop of water. To avoid this frustrating issue, YouTube is taking its step forward by releasing this Lock Screen feature.
This feature is available for both the users of Android as well iOS devices. When the user watches the video on YouTube, the option for a Lock screen will appear. After choosing this option, the screen will permanently lock until he unlocks back the screen.
YouTube How to Turn On the Lock Screen option :
The users must have the premium to turn on the Lock Screen Option. Users can turn on the Lock Screen option by following the steps mentioned below.
- Launch the YouTube app
- Tap on the Profile Picture on the top right side;
- Then click on the “Your Premium benefits” option;
- After this tap on “Try new features”;
- The last step is in the lock screen card, select the try it out option.
How To Use:
While watching a video in full-screen mode, tap on the gear icon in the top left corner of the screen and select Lock Screen.
This Lock Screen option will strengthen the user’s experience. And also help to take a relaxed breath from the unwanted disturbance created in the middle of the video by just accidental touches.
Note: The Fact about the Lock Screen feature is that it does not work on Portrait Mode; this feature is only available for the Landscape Mode.
