Netflix, undoubtedly one of the most popular streaming services, offers a wide variety of award-winning TV shows, movies, anime, documentaries, and many more. The company already provides tons of features for enhancing the users’ experience, and now, to add one more layer to the enjoyment, it is offering two more new features that should improve its ad-tier experience.

Since a year ago, Netflix introduced an ad-supported plan, and now the company is setting up to add some new features. In the future, subscribers will get the ability to download shows and movies, and they can see fewer ads, but only if they binge-watch a series.

In a blog post, it is mentioned that Netflix is looking back at the announcement of its ad-supported plan and what’s to come down the line. The company says it is planning to give the ability to download shows and movies to the ad-tier subscribers, and this enhancement will start by the end of this week. Netflix also assures that it will be the first-ever streaming service to offer this convenient feature to its ad-tier subscribers.

Netflix also stated that, in the first quarter of 2024, it will announce a new binge ad format in the scenario where the users watch three after the other episodes in a row, and then the company will offer them the fourth episode ad-free. However, these features appear as welcomed changes, but the users probably get annoyed in a new way. It seems the steamer also plans on stretching its title sponsorships.

This means the users will see extra pre-roll ads stating that so and so is brought to them by Netflix. Apart from all this, the company also released the ability to run 10, 20, and 60-second ads widely. At the start, it was only 15 and 30 seconds. This announcement arrives on the heels of higher prices for the Basic and Premium tiers.
