Google starts Rolling Out the Audio Emoji Feature Widely On its Pixel Phone App
A couple of weeks ago, Google announced a new Audio Emoji feature for its Pixel’s Phone app, while it was officially announced with the latest Google Pixel 8a. Google stated that this new feature will make user’s normal boring calls much more expressive and engaging. Basically, this new Audio Emoji feature is an extended version of expressive animations of Google Messages. Meanwhile, Google is now widely rolling out this new Audio Emoji feature on its Pixel Phone app.

Google has always been working on enhancing its entire Pixel ecosystem, bringing the most intuitive features and functionalities for the users. Meanwhile, there’s a latest arrival in the Pixel phones, the Audio Emoji feature that’s simply an addition of a new card within the Phone app’s calling screen, allowing you to express your emotions and moods through the fun sound emojis present on the screen while on call. These emojis include, Applause, Laugh, Cheer, Trombone, Poop, and Drum.

Now, Google has started rolling out the new Audio Emoji feature to its Pixel devices more widely, which was initially announced with the Pixel 8a. Earlier, this feature was available to a few Pixel owners in the beta phase, but now, this new Audio Emoji feature is rolling out widely with the latest Phone by Google app’s version 129 (Stable).
Although, this new feature has been recently noticed on several Pixel phones and A-series devices, hence, it strongly appears that this Audio Emoji feature is reserved for Pixel phones. Also, to confirm whether your device received this feature, you can either place a call, or go to the Settings >> Audio Emoji.
