Generative AI has been the trend for a while now. Google is exploring new ways to infuse AI across its apps and services. With this disruptive revolution of AI among several firms, Google is currently testing a new feature within YouTube Shorts that will significantly leverage the power of Artificial Intelligence. Now, audiences on YouTube Shorts will be able to have AI-generated images to set as their Shorts’ backgrounds.

In the recent past, Google has constantly been updating YouTube to offer more interactive experiences to the audience. Meanwhile, the company is experimenting with a new Dream Screen feature, allowing users to bring several AI-generated images to the Shorts creation section.

The Dream Screen feature will let you add AI-generated images as a background for your YouTube Shorts

This new feature basically adds a capability that will significantly allow users to generate AI images or videos that could be used as the background of their YouTube Shorts using text prompts. This Dream Screen feature is all about its simplicity of use, as you just have to type desired English prompts so that AI can generate relevant images based on your prompts to set them as the background of your YouTube Shorts.

Google is currently rolling out the new Dream Screen feature to a limited number of YouTube Shorts creators. It’s unpredictable whether the company will continue with this feature. However, it seems like Google plans to extend this newest capability to more creators in the future.
