WhatsApp is now rolling out a new feature called Transfer Chat History for its users
With the beta 2.23.9.19 update, WhatsApp for Android is introducing a new feature that enables chat transfer without the need for Google Drive. Users can also easily migrate their chat history from one Android device to another by scanning a QR code in the app settings.
This feature can eliminate the need for manual backups in Google Drive. We expect WhatsApp to explore various other methods for chat history, aiming to simplify the transfer process. The company is currently developing this feature and plans to roll it out in the future.
The WhatsApp beta 2.24.13.6 update for Android is now available on the Google Play Store, and it has the ability to transfer chat history from the previous phone. WhatsApp’s new feature is also available on iOS. This upcoming feature could potentially expand this capability by making the migration process universal across different platforms.

Additionally, the feature to transfer chat history from an old phone is also under development and will soon be available in an update to the app. We expect the feature to be available in the iOS, web, and Windows apps in the coming days. Prior to this, the brand has introduced numerous features and is currently developing others, such as privacy confirmation and a dynamic system.
