Instagram AI feature may also allows all users to create profile picture

Instagram could introduce a new feature that would also include features of AI. This feature will help the user create a better profile photo, but the brand is currently working on this feature. However, the brand has not revealed any specifications about these features. 

Instagram AI Generates Profile Picture Feature

This new feature can also be launched on Facebook and WhatsApp after Instagram. The Instagram AI profile picture generation feature has been confirmed through developer Alessandro Paluzzi and he has also shared a post on Threads. Through this new feature, users will also get a new menu option while updating their profile on Instagram. 

These menus will include AI profile pictures, which the developer shared in a screenshot. How and when this feature will be widely deployed are unknown. This feature is still in the development phase. This feature will be powered by Meta’s LIama Large Language Model (LLLM) .

The Instagram AI feature is expected to work in two ways: allowing users to create an AI image from text-based scratch or transform a profile picture into different styles using AI. Earlier, Meta announced that it is testing technology for AI-powered facial recognition to detect spam ads on Facebook and Instagram. Both of these features are not widely available at the moment.
