Google may speed up the ability to receive files in the Files by Google app as it will soon add a new Quick Share Shortcut. Files by Google also has a button to scan and digitize documents; however, this feature was made available some time ago, and it will soon be rolled out for every user.
In addition to this, another new button will be added with other sharing features. This feature is currently in development and has been spotted in the beta version 1.4076.648107679.0 of the Files app. This new button appears below the scan button and is a shortcut to Quick Share. It is designed to receive files from other devices on your handsets.
Earlier, for sharing, the user needed to access the Quick Settings by swiping down from the top of the screen, but now, with the arrival of this new button, this process has become faster. On the other hand, the company has also released a video to use it.
Tapping on this button will temporarily make your device visible to all the people nearby so that you can share things with the people you want. It also has a feature that sharing will not start until you accept the file. If you return without receiving the file, Quick Share will automatically stop for you. Hopefully, the company has taken special care of the device’s privacy.
